What is motivation? This is the question that I've been asking myself a lot of late. And it seems to me that one of the biggest problems in corporate America has to do with motivation.

Motivation is an attitude. It's an attitude that we acquire when we seek the fulfillment of our needs. When we seek to achieve something, the first thing we do is we take a look at the opportunity for success. That's where our power comes from.

The big idea behind the motivation is not the concept of "seeing the light at the end of the tunnel". No, the idea behind motivation is seeing something more.

Process of Motivation 

We do this because our motivational character was shaped by our experience. And in order to create better results for ourselves and others, we have to develop our ability to see even further than we can see now.

Most of us make things easier by just taking on more work so that we have more opportunities to succeed. It is the nature of human nature to be in search of an opportunity to gain something.

The success of successful people is built on their ability to look beyond themselves and to go beyond themselves. They look beyond themselves as well as beyond the possibility of success. They look ahead to that which is higher and even greater than them.

Is Motivation Required?

What is motivation anyway? Motivation is an attitude. It's an attitude that we acquire when we seek the fulfillment of our needs.

If you are in search of a need for love, then you'll ask yourself what you want to get out of love. If you want to make money and you ask yourself what you need to make money, your answer will be different.

You need a purpose. You need a reason. You need an end in mind.

So the next time you ask yourself what you need to do to become more successful, don't start to search for what you want to be. Start to search for why you need to do it. The reason that drives you to do your quest is the same reason that will guide you to success.

Conclusion 

This is the big picture. The big picture is finding reasons for doing the things that you do. Why you are doing them is just a side note.
